this place is absolutely amazing!! with great crew, cool culture!! my guy Josh really helped me out to have an amazing experience at dave's!
Chicken was flavorful and crispy! It was pretty spicy as well. It is nice because you can get different spice levels for each piece in your order. For example, I ordered two tenders, one mild and one extra spicy! The fries were good as well! The Mac and cheese was really good as well! It came with honey and ketchup packets on the side. Reasonably priced for what you get! There were limited drink options, just the usual fountain drink options.

Really recommend the tenders here 10/10 great food and good service Highly recommend.
It's the definition of "meh". Overpriced chain restaurant fried chicken sandwiches. It's fine if there's nothing else around, but not worth making a trip to.

They used to be so good! The value was there with the large pieces chicken. It was my go-to. Lately the orders have come out wrong or are absolutely tiny. Very sad :(

This might be the worst food I've eaten in a restaurant since I moved to Newton 3 years ago. I like spicy food, so I ordered "Medium" spiciness. The coating had a very strange taste and the level of spiciness was not medium. The fries were inedible.

I have to say, Dave's Chicken has been a huge disappointment. The texture of the chicken is terrible. It's so tough to pull apart, almost as if it hasn't been cooked properly. Are we talking medium-well chicken here? This is the second time I've eaten chicken from this place, and both times it's left me with excruciating stomach pain. I'm actually concerned it might be causing some sort of foodborne illness because the pain is so severe I feel like I should go to urgent care.
