I was so excited when Joella's said they were coming to Hamburg. I have given this place at least 10 or more tries and not once have they gotten my order correct! I want to like it but my chicken Is always tough and I never get the right sides. I've complained and I get a nice email but I can only go so far. Joella's please pay attention! The food is too expensive not to be correct! I'm a nice person but I'm going to have to find another chicken place!

Waited 10 minutes at the register while all the staff was joking around loudly in the back room. Finally had one worker come out laughing so hard she couldn't tell us sorry like it seemed she was trying to as she walked past us. Did not even serve us. Another worker came out with the same energy but quickly snapped into unpersonable. She tried to up charge us the entire time we were ordering even though we explicitly said we didn't want to spend the extra money. I want to like this place I really really do. However we have tried getting take out from there twice in the past 4 months and both times they have messed up the order. Yesterday we were missing a side out of one box and it had an extra different type of dipping sauce in it we didn't ask for. One box had two pieces of chicken in it instead of chicken tenders and the wrong sauce and the third was the only one that was correct. 1 of 3. The worse customer service I have ever encountered. Black lady with funky hair color I believe was a manger was rude disrespectful and told me to never come back because I felt waiting 20+ minutes was not acceptable and they were NOT busy maybe 4 people in whole restaurant. I would have understood had it been busy. Never will patron this place again

TL;DR: I do not know who franchised this particular establishment... but it needs work. A whole lot of work. Dammit, I love hot chicken, and I love Joella's. I was stoked to hear that they opened a spot near where I work, and couldn't wait to buy some hot chicken to bring back to the office. On my first visit, I'll say the employees are friendly as heck! Stay away!!! Forget ordering online to avoid a hassle. 30 minutes after food is supposed to be ready, no one even at the counter.

I'm a huge fan of Joella's over on Cochran Rd, so I was so excited to see they opened a location in Hamburg! I was so disappointed to come in today around 7:45, and wait at the counter for 35 minutes to then leave because I realized I probably wasn't going to get served. There was probably around 15 people waiting inside the restaurant for their orders, and they all seemed like they had been there for a while as well. wish I could give 0 stars. They don't answer their phone & they cancel orders after making you wait an hour. Save your money & time and go somewhere else
