Update: Got my food 35 minutes after the expected timeframe, not a way to run a business. This is the third or fourth time of giving this place a try, every time is a long wait for food and sometimes no one is there at the counter. I am not sure what is going on but I will pick another place going forward. Already been waiting 10 minutes past the time my food said it would be ready on my online order & no expected time yet. Such a poorly run business, the one in NKY I don't remember ever being like this.

Do not waste your time here, especially if you're going to mobile order. And ALWAYS check to make sure your order is correct. I placed an online order today, and it was easily the worst experience I've ever had with Joella's. It took nearly an HOUR for them to get my food out to me, all while I watched at least ten walk-ins pass through and get their food. Went back to the location and requested my free meal and mentioned being on the the VIP list, and nobody knew what in the hell I was talking about and went to the next guest. I walked out because they were just looking at me like I was crazy and just went to the next guest. Seriously NEVER GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR BUSINESS. This place needs to get its entire act together. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I WILL NEVER BE BACK. When my wife and I got to the restaurant, there was someone taking orders and all was fine, everything changed quickly. The next person in line ordered and then the counter clerk went to the kitchen and rarely returned. People came and then left because there was no one to take orders. .... Don't go here. I was extra excited for this place when I saw they had fried pickles. Then I took a bite of one and noticed a strange texture... I pulled it out of my mouth and it was a hard stick of metal cooked in the pickle. It was so scary. I work in a restaurant and this terrified me to know they had this in the batter. How many other pickles or even chicken was battered with metals shards in it? I messaged corporate on the website but I still want to warn others while I can before someone else receives food with me... read more

The person who waited on us was completely rude and had a major attitude. I wanted to leave but my husband wanted chicken and waffles. I had the sliders, the breading was soggy and the chicken underneath was dry. I'll never go back.

The prices in the actual restaurant are higher than they appear on the app - who does that? And you can't add a side anymore for just a little more. You have to pay full price now. No trays for dine in. Fries were so cold my wife took them back for some fresh and hot ones. And you can't leave leave feedback on their app either. Chicken was okay though. But it will be a long time before we come back.

Joella's downtown was so good when it first opened that when I came across it at dinner time while shopping in Hamburg, me and my family stopped in. My 10 year old got the chicken and waffles. Those were a hit. Two regular sized tenders and a massive wedged waffle. My husband and I should've gotten that. He got the chicken wings. The second hottest option "hot" absolutely zero heat. The next one step above that: "Fire in the hole" looks like it was dipped in lava and tastes like burnt rubber. You gotta find a middle ground.
