Chicken is very bland. The dry rub on the chicken has a bit of sweetness that throws me off a bit. The only thing that saves the chicken sandwich is the coleslaw. Other than that I do not recommend if you are used to SEASONED chicken because you will be disappointed.

My wife and I didn't care for the taste of the Chicken. We were disappointed. There are other fast food chains who've we tried with much better tasting Chicken. What is the source of the Chicken. Is it free range, organic or is it Chicken mixed with a filler?

I went to the Wayne New Jersey restaurant and the customer service was terrible and it took me and my family 45 minutes to get 3 meals and when I asked the employees what is the wait for she replied with an attitude and the food quality wasn't good it was cold and I got no sauces even though I asked for a bunch

Utterly disappointed with what I was served at my first visit. My expectations were pretty high due to the hype around Dave's Hot Chicken but I was pretty let down. The employees were very kind but the food was pretty bland. The chicken didn't taste fresh and my fries were barely seasoned. Hopefully if I ever spin back i'll update but for now this gets a 5.5/10

Update: DO NOT COME HERE, CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS YET AGAIN! I posted a previous review talking about my experience at Dave's Hot Chicken and how they refused to give me and my fiance a free slider on the 24th for the Drake Birthday promotion after 9pm. The store contacted me and gave me a $10 food voucher redeemable at any location, which I appreciated. I went back to the 56th location today (walking 2 miles yet again) to use the voucher. The line was so long today and there was no real effort on the staff's part to make the line go faster. Only taking 3-5 customers. I waited an hour and half for my chicken sandwich. The sandwich is just okay. If you want a quality chicken sandwich go across the street to Sophie's Cuban Cuisine. It is worth noting the slushy options are tasty. chicken was decent quality but was very expensive and really had no flavor other than salt. would not go again. I'll spent half as much and go to popeyes next time.

I ordered for the first time here and normally I look for an ingredient list when ordering from new places, but couldn't find one on the Dave's website. I can't have cilantro/coriander (I'm one of those annoying people with the genetic hatred of it) but decided to take the chance and order.
