TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Honestly just as good or better than hot chicken in Nashville. The flavor of "Hot" level was definitely the best, the "extra hot" was good but sacrifices flavor for spiciness. The portions are large, it's definitely worth the visit.
Just as good as the California locations! So happy to have quality halal chicken sandwiches on the east coast. Fairly priced, GREAT portions, Fast service, small interior so don't hold your breath for a seat. Close enough to Columbus circle and Central Park so you can make a picnic out of it

I'd personally go sliders over tenders. The extra pickles in the box are a nice touch. Fries were excellent (crinkle cuts like Sh*k* Sh**k, but better). Have come back several times already. They're also on the delivery apps now. My waistline hates these guys.
This was so good! Food tasted Fresh and was hot. Great service (the cashier guy was so nice and patient). The location is kinda small but welcoming. Love that we have one of these in NYC!
Extremely tasty- the portions are generous and the brine of the chicken is spectacular.
Dave's is the best to go for spicy chicken tenders, fast food style. Their menu is fairly simple, you can get different sets of their chicken sandwiches and tenders combo. Their chicken is thicccc and juicy with a dry spice rub that has a kick to it. I chose medium spice level and it was perfect. Their combos were a bit on the pricier side relatively, but worth a try! The shop has a few tables for you to sit to enjoy it fresh.
Very good food lived up to the hype everyone has been giving it. Best hot chicken I've had in a while.
Finally a hot chicken place we can be proud of. Legit, better than Nashville Hattie B's. I ordered the Reaper and paid for it the next day but damn tasty. I love the slaw and pickles and the sauce, really great. They call them sliders (and serve 2 per order) but on a full size Martin roll. I couldn't finish both in the same sitting but then again it was Reaper hot. Thanks Dave, I'll be back often.
