The staff was very nice and the restaurant clean. The food was fresh .... but we just didn't like it. The chicken portion was decent but the fry portion wasn't - not for the price (way too small). The mac and cheese was watery (oily?) and pasta too soft. The fries were ok but I didn't like the seasoning. It has a sweetness to it I just didn't care for. Now the chicken ... Good chicken. But... a 45 min wait for what is essentially fast food at their 85th st location. This is so poorly managed and the kitchen does not have their act together. 4 people up front only 2 on the back and 50 people waiting agitated Advice: try ordering on-line. Oh, they also got the order wrong. Words of warning. There is a HUGE difference between their Medium and Hot as far as spiciness. One is delicious, one will have you drenched in sweat. Make sure they get your order right!

I mean i think the hype they created around it hurt it to begin with. The chicken itself has no flavors. It all comes from the dust they throw on it and then throw the exact same dust on the fries. its an oppressive amount of salt and "dave's sauce" is a just chortle mayo and not that great either. I will say they get a 2 because their employees were great, and they deserve recogmition.

Not sure how three tenders 2 no seasoning (no bread on any) turned into 2 tenders medium and two hot tenders with fries? All had bread...nothing can turn me off more than not getting my order right so two stars

The place is super small so on a busy day you sadly won't be sitting after walking all those blocks. The food had very little seasoning sadly. Save your money and try something else.

So the delivery was so late (1 hour) that the food was not soggy and not as it was intended. I'm not able to rate the total quality but I ate the chicken with out the bread and it seemed to be a good spot. The delivery ruined the experience.

Wow what a fugazy the chicken was a terrible paprika powder spice on it! I guess The Chic is way better.That Dave's hot chicken stay in Cali. The chicken really Suck

I went there almost 3 weeks ago . I ordered the combo with 2 sliders and fries with cheese . The fries were soggy and not good . The cheese was so watered down , it was for sure fake oil cheese . $1 for cheese and its not even real cheese. And the sliders were too fried and too crispy .
