This is THE best hot chicken I've ever had. Dave's hot is always ready fairly quick, the price is right, and the location is very convenient to me. The building is in a very populated area, so parking can be a but tough at times, but the food is absolutely worth the patience you may need to circle the block for a spot. I usually place my order online & it's ready in no more than 10-15 minutes. The dining area is casual & fun, and the servers are always kind

This one exceeded my expectations. The outside of the restaurant is a little rough, but I was surprised by the food though! I got one "reaper" and one extra hot sandwich. I like it spicy and the reaper was actually very spicy! Extra hot was good too. The food was cooked well, and it was a lot of food for the money. Yup. Good deal.

Dave's is relatively quick, prioritizes giving out hot fries, and allows you to order in the restaurant or beforehand online. They'll bag it to go but you're welcome to eat inside. The bathroom was pretty clean and staff walks around and cleans tables so dining in is pretty comfortable. I've been here a few times and I think my favorite order is the two tender box (medium or hot ) with fries. They give honey packets so I pour those over the chicken. They have really good spicy fried chicken sandwiches for a good price! The taste is great, and they have a variety of seating and good vibe to sit and eat. Their service was also very good and quick.

Amazing food! We don't usually get the chance to come to Oakland but we decided to stop by and there are no regrets. I ordered 2 mild tenders and it came with super crispy well seasons fries, toast, and some pickles. The woman taking orders was super sweet and really fast service. If you're a fried chicken sandwich fanatic, my friends also ordered the sandwiches and loved it too, so this place is definitely worth a try!

Visited again today and Dave's has done it again. The chicken is consistently hot, crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. I tried the Mac and Cheese for the first time and boy was I pleased. It was creamy and flavorful. Best thing about my visit today was the service. The lady working the counter around 11 AM was very nice and accommodating. Also, the food didn't take a long time to come out, which has been a put off in the past. Keep up the great work, Dave's!

Pros: Indifferent service their fried chicken pieces were ver juicy and good. Unlike other fast food joints, the meat wasn't gamy Cons: street parking The chicken was good but was almost too salty. Maybe it was me

Daves hot chicken has the most tender tasty chicken. Great for bulking and decently affordable. Definitely recommend the medium spice level. Pretty tolerable and tastes perfect!

First of all, the cashier was so nice and friendly! Another worker also came and checked in on us asking if we needed anything, which is totally not the norm in a fast food style restaurant, so the service was excellent. The interior was really great too - it was kept super clean and the decor was a great vibe as well. As for the food, it was definitely one of the better chicken sandwiches I've had.
