They have really good spicy fried chicken sandwiches for a good price! The taste is great, and they have a variety of seating and good vibe to sit and eat. Their service was also very good and quick.

Amazing food! We don't usually get the chance to come to Oakland but we decided to stop by and there are no regrets. I ordered 2 mild tenders and it came with super crispy well seasons fries, toast, and some pickles. The woman taking orders was super sweet and really fast service. If you're a fried chicken sandwich fanatic, my friends also ordered the sandwiches and loved it too, so this place is definitely worth a try!

Visited again today and Dave's has done it again. The chicken is consistently hot, crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. I tried the Mac and Cheese for the first time and boy was I pleased. It was creamy and flavorful. Best thing about my visit today was the service. The lady working the counter around 11 AM was very nice and accommodating. Also, the food didn't take a long time to come out, which has been a put off in the past. Keep up the great work, Dave's!

Pros: Indifferent service their fried chicken pieces were ver juicy and good. Unlike other fast food joints, the meat wasn't gamy Cons: street parking The chicken was good but was almost too salty. Maybe it was me

Daves hot chicken has the most tender tasty chicken. Great for bulking and decently affordable. Definitely recommend the medium spice level. Pretty tolerable and tastes perfect!

First of all, the cashier was so nice and friendly! Another worker also came and checked in on us asking if we needed anything, which is totally not the norm in a fast food style restaurant, so the service was excellent. The interior was really great too - it was kept super clean and the decor was a great vibe as well. As for the food, it was definitely one of the better chicken sandwiches I've had. Was in the area and was able to get a nearby parking spot, so decided to check it out. Wasn't sure they were open at first: no lights on the outside and the windows are dirty so it was hard to see inside. Had the 2 piece chicken tender combo with mild sauce--so good! Well seasoned and juicy. Lightly seasoned fries. Cashier was really nice and helpful about the sauce (since i can no longer do the really hot stuff). The chicken sandos are amazing! Don't worry if you can't handle heat. I ordered a medium spice level sandwich and it was completely bearable. I would actually go for hot next time. The fries were also so crispy and perfectly seasoned. I can't get enough of the Dave's sauce!
