Was in the area and was able to get a nearby parking spot, so decided to check it out. Wasn't sure they were open at first: no lights on the outside and the windows are dirty so it was hard to see inside. Had the 2 piece chicken tender combo with mild sauce--so good! Well seasoned and juicy. Lightly seasoned fries. Cashier was really nice and helpful about the sauce (since i can no longer do the really hot stuff). The chicken sandos are amazing! Don't worry if you can't handle heat. I ordered a medium spice level sandwich and it was completely bearable. I would actually go for hot next time. The fries were also so crispy and perfectly seasoned. I can't get enough of the Dave's sauce!

Chicken was tasty and hot. A little salty but fresh. Food came fast, strips were big. The crust of the chicken was very churchy

Fantastic!! So much flavor and so much food! Me and my wife and we had the two sliders with fries. Dry rub chicken goodness!

food was very juicy and tender but my only bad thing about this is they do not give you a bunch of fries but beside that they do give very fresh and amazing food every time i have got it i have never been dissatisfied.

Ordered and paid online at lunch and it was super easy. Got combo meal with one tender and a slider with fries. The tenders were huge and I really only needed one with the fries, which were super tasty. Wish they had some smaller options for tenders because it was hard to eat the slider but I liked the heat level and the order was ready for pickup when I arrived. Also liked the special dipping sauce. The cost was high (IMHO) and came in just shy of $14 before tip. I'll go again and will order the one piece tender with fries ... read more

Business was clean and bright. Good music choices. Nice being able to choose heat level of chicken. Loved the crinkle cut fries.

So excited to finally get some good hot chicken here in downtown Oakland. The menu is reasonably priced for being located in the downtown area. On my trip today, I saw some homeless person going through the garbage cans inside the restaurant. Thankfully one of the staff kicked him out. Yeah, homelessness is a huge problem in the bay area unfortunately. Other than that, I had a good experience here. Can't wait to come back

This place is located in downtown Oakland and it's only been there for a little over 2 months. I got the 2 sliders with one medium and the other spicy and cheese fries. The meal was SO good. I'm really picky about hot chicken sandwiches and I was very pleased. It's not saucy, it's more of a dry rub that has a special sauce topping. The pickles were crunchy and crisp and the fries were hot and crispy. The fries remind me of zaxbys fries but thinner. The slaw in the sandwich added a fresh element.
