With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

This franchise has no morals , they advertised free sliders if downloading app on 10-24-24 till the 25th But they stop giving them out at at 9:20 on the 24th liars !!!
Crazy how my family and I came for the free slider and they stop taking the reward. Highly disappointed in this false advertisement. My family and I doubt we are coming back.

One measly chicken tender on a roll for $10. My daughter's tender was undercooked, so she only ate the fries.
While the food fell short of expectations the commendable service at this restaurant provided a silver lining to the dining experience. The attentive and friendly staff contributed positively, despite the disappointing quality of the food. They have cherry coke that's a plus.
Wow, false advertising! I showed up for their marketing scheme for Drakes birthday and they "ran out of sliders". Thanks for ruining my night "Dave". Your chicken is not even hot you god damn clown. You're nothing but a no good liar!!
I finally tried Dave's Hot Chicken after all the hype I have heard. Overall I was very disappointed. I got both a slider and tenders and though both were over cooked and dried out. The sauce both Mild and Hot were blahhh... the only good thing was the decor was pretty cool
It's just wasn't good to me. Maybe it's my mature taste. It's very popular and busy. My rating is because the chicken didn't match the hype. Everything else wanted in a dining experience was superb.
I was originally really excited to try this place just due to all the good reviews. But that was not the case, it was absolutely terrible and I hate to say that because I'm a chicken lover. The chicken was chewy and undone the breading was falling off the tenders for the tender meal and it wasn't as spicy as I thought. Maybe it was the location, or too many orders idk but it was pretty bad
