TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

I always appreciate a place where they don't try to do a lot of stuff ok but do one or two things excellent! You can pick how much spice and even if you pick none, the chicken patty is still seasoned well and crispy! The pickles are fresh and the vans are soft yet the tops are toasty brown. Delicious!

Excellent chicken. I had the 2 slider combo with a hot and an extra hot. Delicious! I also got a free drink by checking in on Yelp. Ask for honey to add on your chicken. The sweetness goes very well with the spicy chicken.
I was pretty excited to try this place out! We ordered some food for take-out. I got their #3 which is their 1 tender + 1 slider with fries. I also got a vanilla shake and mac and cheese. The chicken itself was pretty good and juicy. You can choose the spice level and I chose mild because I wasn't sure about how spicy it would get. I would definitely bump up the spice next time as I wasn't really feeling too much. Hot Nashville chicken served on a slice of bread...yummy! I got the spicy flavor and it was so so good. I like that they are open late so when your on your way home late you can fulfill your craving for some better food than burgers. I like the art in walls in this place.
The first thing you notice is the colorful ambiance. The space is mid size but they do have outdoor tables which is a plus. We ordered their mild 2 sliders meal and their lite mild 2 piece tenders meal. The sliders are okay, if they had more coleslaw it would have made them better. The strips were a big miss, too much dry rub on the outside of the strips. My son didn't like the over seasoned tenders so we asked if they could be changed for plain and they did without hesitation.
