All i can say is they need more staff. There wasnt a need for a 40 minute wait for a Dave's 2 tenders with fries meal and when you were second in line before the lunch rush began.

Great experience all around with the food and the staff that served it. Such a welcoming atmosphere to brighten anyone's day. The chicken was not dry at all, which is a step-up from other fast food restaurants that serve fried chicken. Dave's Hot chicken makes some pretty tasty chicken although a little on the salty side. The spice level choices are pretty good but sometimes inconsistent. I have gotten hot on many different occasions and have had to taste with just the right amount of hotness but others times had the hot level taste more on the medium side. First time trying Dave's! I was surprised that I haven't found this place earlier. I went on a Saturday night, so the business was populated. However, the wait in line was brief and my food came out within 10 minutes of waiting! I ordered a strawberry vanilla shake and a #4. I was not disappointed whatsoever. I guess I do not understand the hype for this restaurant and food. The chicken is spicy, but it's also greasy and overcooked. Sadly, the same is true for the french fries. The place has adequate seating and service is pretty fast. A lot of folks order to go from here.

Cheaper and faster than other chicken sandwiches places I've had and its slowly becoming our favorite in the area. I prefer Hotboys in Walnut Creek, but this place is closer and cheaper so it'll do. Service is quick.

OK let's go for this, the food was exceptional. I asked for the mild because I'm kind of a wuss, but I'll tell you it was fantastic. It was just write the number three is a good sampling of a little bit of everything and you'll really really like it. I'll start at the top and I'll work my way down on the menu. I will be back. Happy to see Dave's Hot in the Tri-Valley area! This was my first time trying their food after hearing so many raves about it. They definitely have a pretty solid chicken sandwich. I ordered the #2, 2 sliders w/ fries to share and it was the perfect amount for 2.
