TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

The food was good and just the right amount if not more than enough. Busy but not a long wait. Will definitely return and can eat when in the mood for chicken
Amazing food and service! No need for anyone to go to chick fil a anymore this place is open Sunday and has amazing spicy chicken. Simple menu. Indoor and outside seating. Chef Dave trained at the French Laundry. Perfectly juicy chicken with the perfect crunchy spiciness. The Dave's Sauce will blow ur mind. Fries are 12/10. Tenders are huge, one was enough for me, husband orders 2. Happy I found this place!
I have found IT! My favorite chicken spot of all time. I've been to many many different chicken sandwich establishments, and have eaten hundreds of chicken sandwiches, but none of them beat Dave's hot chicken, from the bun, to the pickles, and the fries and of-course the CHICKEN! Absolutely delicious! Super friendly staff and amazing vibe inside the restaurant with super cool gravity and led signs.
I was really excited to try Dave's. My teenage kids have been begging me to come here so we made the 40 min drive. I wanted to love it, I really did. Maybe it's the fact that my standards were really high that left me more on the disappointed side. Was it bad? No, absolutely not. Great quality chicken! portions small for the price though. if they lowered the prices I would definitely come more regularly .

Dave's is in the former Baja Fresh space, which is now transformed to a bit of a more edgy walk up eatery. As the name "Hot Chicken " suggests only chicken is served. Good size chicken strips are breaded with Choices of heat level seasoned on the breaded chicken. We ordered a lite mild and medium.
