Food is good, but we had a large order with just a few spread and when we asked for more they charged. Union City location is better and generous.
All I can say is: their (medium) hot chicken is barely mild, they don't let you upgrade the fries in their combos, the Dave's sauce is basically orange mayonnaise. and they charge you for any extra sauce. I wouldn't recommend.

Great place. Been there a bunch, but Dave's has been purchased by a huge private equity corporation that owns Arby's, Baskin Robbins, Buffalo Wild Wings, Dunkin', Jimmy John's, and Sonic subway. Too bad. One of the only fast food restaurants I went to. I don't go to any of these companies due to a drop in quality, increased prices and shrinking portions
usually have a great experience at this location, especially when the store manager is there. She's always professional, warm, and genuinely seems to enjoy her job. I've even told her multiple times how refreshing it is to see someone always in good spirits -- she truly sets the tone when she's on shift. Unfortunately, this review isn't about her -- it's about the assistant manager, who has rubbed me the wrong way more than once. It took over a half hour to get my 10 piece chicken order, and then on top of it...it was wrong. They finally came cold and partially cooked. Terrible service terrible food.

Less than an hour after eating, got progressively worse food poisoning symptoms. Food was really enjoyable but it was absolutely a bout of food poisoning from the chicken.

First time ever trying daves hot chicken and to be honest I don't get what the hype is about. I walked in the restaurant and it literally smelled like musty armpits. Then I ordered 2 sliders medium and the taste was rancid it taste just like how it smelled when I walked in. I don't know if they didn't mix the seasonings well but it wasn't good. The only positive was the fries and daves sauce. I would like to try again but it's way to expensive when I can grab something for better value.

This place is filthy and disgusting. For the hype, it smelled and felt like I walked into the coliseum BART station in Oakland. The food is mediocre and they try to upsell everything, not worth it. I would NOT recommend. Disgusting place.

Chicken sandwich is overcooked all crust and little chicken and Exprensive Salty loaded hard chicken and fries. Raising Cane's has better tasting chicken, better fries, and affordable.
