TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Best damn chain chicken restaurant out there. We always stop when there is one in the area
Honestly so good. I love the chicken and fries. I'd say it's the same as canes just minus canes sauce. The chicken is better though than canes.
I have tried Dave's before, and it was not very memorable. I decided to give it another try because this location is new. I got the two slider combo at the hot spice level. I love spice and consider my spice tolerance pretty high. That being said, I wish I got the medium spice level because the sliders were simply too spicy to enjoy. Chicken is fire! Crispy, crunchy and delicious every time. Mac n cheese and fries are on point too! If the chicken is too spicy fry putting honey on it.
Good is fantastic! Must go to chicken spot. Been here a few times and keep coming back. Staff is great and the place is clean.
Well the name is certainly appropriate. My lips are still burning while writing this review! This review is for those of us who can't take any real heat... I ordered the MILD flavor because I was worried no spice would be bland (it's my first visit!) and I'd say it was definitely hotter than I expected (but hey Dave didn't call this place hot chicken for no reason!). I love the food. Delicious and the customer service is great, too. Speaking of that, something is missing out in that dining room on Saturday nights and she goes by the name of, Dolores. It's time to bring her back. She definitely adds to the overall ambiance.
Food is always good, I've never had a bad order. Personally I only go if I have a specific craving lol
