Dave's Hot Chicken had decent food overall. I ordered the chicken sandwich, which had good flavor and a nice crunch, but it didn't quite live up to the hype. The spice and seasoning were solid, just not particularly memorable. The restaurant itself was a little messy, which took away from the experience. Still, the staff were friendly, and the food was hot and fresh. Not bad for a quick meal, but probably not a place I'd rush back to.

I like this place would I get it all the time I don't think so but the food is so good
Yeah, ok... it's not Gus's Nashville Hot... Breading a bit heavy and dense, chicken was succulent and juicy as any brined chicken would be but very salty... fries were ok crinkle cut... dave sauce, tasty but turned my stomach a little (high fructose corn syrup, caramel color and soybean oil --I generally try to stay away from) ... it's not something I'm going to go out of my way to get... 3 stars

Best chicken better than canes. We go there every day because it's better than canes. We eat chicken there. It's really good all the time recommended to everyone in the world.
Ok, first timer here and it did NOT disappoint. I wasn't expecting the tenders to have a dry seasoning on them, opposed to the regularly sauced tenders I'm used to. The rub was very good, and kept you going back for another bite. The price is a bit high, but the portion size really makes up for that. When I checked out their Rhode Island location, I had the intention of doing what I do best---sampling beverages. I heard they have new top loaded shakes and burstin' slushers, but I was told that I had to try the hot chicken too. Well duh, that's what they're known for. So here's the thing about me.
