Ok, first timer here and it did NOT disappoint. I wasn't expecting the tenders to have a dry seasoning on them, opposed to the regularly sauced tenders I'm used to. The rub was very good, and kept you going back for another bite. The price is a bit high, but the portion size really makes up for that. When I checked out their Rhode Island location, I had the intention of doing what I do best---sampling beverages. I heard they have new top loaded shakes and burstin' slushers, but I was told that I had to try the hot chicken too. Well duh, that's what they're known for. So here's the thing about me. I've been wanting to try this place since they announced they were opening. My first Nashville Hot experience being in Nashville has tainted me on every version I've had since, so I wasn't coming in with high hopes. I used to love Popeyes but since i was brought to Dave's hot chicken I will never go back to Popeyes or k Of C not even Chic fil a I travel 40 each way to get Dave's Wish they had more in and around Rhode Island Thank You For some of the best chicken I ever had

Surprisingly Great Spot! I had no idea this was a fast food place, it felt way better than that. The food was super seasoned and full of flavor. I loved the chicken, though it was a lot! Delicious, but I definitely needed a nap afterward. The combos are solid, and everything tasted better than I expected. Prices were a little on the higher side, but they give you plenty of food, so it's hard to complain. Service was generally quick, and the place is open a little later, which is a big plus.
