It get 5 stars for a past review but I am so sad that they no longer do cauliflower sliders . According to my family the chicken is delicious (I don't eat chicken). Kale slaw . The service is EXCELLENT!!! I love the murals that are on the wall and the music is always good. Please bring back cauliflower!!!!!!!

I recently visited Dave's Hot Chicken and had an outstanding experience! The service was amazing, with friendly staff who made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. Our food arrived quickly, despite the busy atmosphere. Seating was limited indoors, but we found plenty of spots on the outdoor patio, which was a nice option. Delicious! My husband and I finally got the chance to try Dave's and were pleasantly surprised. I got the mini sliders in medium and my husband got the two slider meal in hot. The mini sliders come with 4 and was the perfect amount for me. They are bite sized but packed with flavor with pickles and kale slaw on a delicious, buttery, soft bun. It's fast food, but the chicken is good and not overly greasy. The crinkle-cut type fries aren't my favorite, but they're still solid. For the price it's a nice change of pace when I'm tired of Chick-fil-A and want something different. I like their ordering options.

Great ambiance and friendly service. I ordered the temp just above mild. Unfortunately the chicken had spices on it but had very little flavor. Maybe the hot is best and it would suit those who like it hot. I don't which could be why this place wasn't for me. Also, the coleslaw was very tasty but it had kale in it. Also not for me. While I wasn't thrilled with the food, there are many people who swear by it so give it a try at least.

I'm so glad Dave's made its way to Jax! I popped in randomly on a Tuesday and ordered the Slider/Tender combo, medium. The line was short, and I waited under 10 minutes for my food. The staff were all friendly; the restaurant was clean. The food was even better than I remembered! The one thing I will say is I'm normally a medium spice girl, but I'll probably go up to hot the next time I stop by because the medium felt more mildish. But even so, wow! The medium was the perfect hotness, it didn't burn your mouth but had tons of flavor. I wish they had blue cheese to dip in, sorry to say Dave's sauce isn't better than Buffalo and Blue Cheese. They just go better together. The kale salad was really good. The interior is vibrant with graffiti. They totally should sell tee shirts!

I resisted eating here as I honestly thought it would be too hot for me to eat nevermind that I'd heard mixed reviews about it. Once the raving died down, my coworkers talked me into ordering some to-go. I ordered the 10 pc. Dave's Bites w/ Fries (white meat chicken tender bites, crinkle cut fries, a slice of bread, pickles, and a side of Dave's sauce which is similar to thousand island dressing.
