Wife and I decided to see what all the hype was about. We enjoy Nashville Hot Chicken in its various options. Dave's is not Nashville Hot but they don't advertise it that way obviously. We arrived at 2:20pm and there was a line that took about 15 minutes not bad and about another 15 minutes to get our order. We ordered tenders, fries and slaw. The chicken is crispy and juicy. best service best food fresh hot and ready the customers are friendly and helpful the chicken is really good i love the mild chicken and cheese fries there chicken bitesss are sooooooo good and the loaded fries and the slushiesss this place is defiantly number one for food i would eat on my lunch break.
Today was the soft opening - tomorrow, 04/18 is the grand opening of the Jax location of Dave's Hot Chicken. it was my first time trying DHC. I don't tolerate spice well but they have so many spice level options starting at No Spice. I went one level up from that, Lite Mild & think I'll go up to Mild next time. I really enjoyed the chicken, pickles, & the Dave's sauce (I haven't tried the mac & cheese yet), This place is going to be VERY popular so I recommend downloading their app to order in advance.
