I'm so glad Dave's made its way to Jax! I popped in randomly on a Tuesday and ordered the Slider/Tender combo, medium. The line was short, and I waited under 10 minutes for my food. The staff were all friendly; the restaurant was clean. The food was even better than I remembered! The one thing I will say is I'm normally a medium spice girl, but I'll probably go up to hot the next time I stop by because the medium felt more mildish. But even so, wow! The medium was the perfect hotness, it didn't burn your mouth but had tons of flavor. I wish they had blue cheese to dip in, sorry to say Dave's sauce isn't better than Buffalo and Blue Cheese. They just go better together. The kale salad was really good. The interior is vibrant with graffiti. They totally should sell tee shirts!

I resisted eating here as I honestly thought it would be too hot for me to eat nevermind that I'd heard mixed reviews about it. Once the raving died down, my coworkers talked me into ordering some to-go. I ordered the 10 pc. Dave's Bites w/ Fries (white meat chicken tender bites, crinkle cut fries, a slice of bread, pickles, and a side of Dave's sauce which is similar to thousand island dressing. Based on the times that I've driven by here in the past and seen the lines way out the door..:I got lucky and was able to pop in during the lunch hour. I waited maybe 3 mins ...then I ordered. That was a big thing because I was discouraged thinking I'd never get to try this place. Now I will say nothing against the establishment but this may be the most overrated place in Jacksonville to date. Thank you for another amazing spot in Jacksonville! Wow was this some great chicken. Crispy, juicy and delicious. The spice is very mild but delicious. I got the number 4 which is 1 slider and fries. Joshua and Jasmine were so kind and helpful. Don't miss this new spot at St John's Town Center!

Joshua was super pleasant and helped us out. By far the juiciest freshest and crispiest chicken I have had. I will definitely return.

The food is definitely overrated. I am not sure if maybe it was mine, but I found it bland. The portions are good and the chicken is juicy. Just expected more flavor. My daughter loves it, so we will keep going I guess.

I came. I saw. I got ambushed by flavor. I ordered the tender and slider combo (extra hot), and let me tell you--this chicken doesn't play. First bite hit my taste buds like the giant chicken from Family Guy sucker-punching Peter Griffin. Total mayhem. I wasn't ready, but I liked it. The slider? Perfection.
