I had a terrible experience with Dean & DeWitt. Dean & Dewitt is the absolute WORST property management in the St Petersburg area! You wouldn't know by looking at their website because they SCRUB ANY REVIEW NOT 5 STARS! I lived in a building they took over management of and could not have had a worse experience! Throughout the 3 years under their management I experienced 18 days of no electric / gas in my kitchen, holes in my floorboards they refused to patch up, time without a working AC unit, week to two week delays in maintenance responses and to top it all off they ne... read more

Don’t do business with you are just going to flush money down a toilet dealing with them!
I have lived in a small apartment building at 9250 blind pass rd. in st. pete beach for the past 30 years. In the last 3 years it has been sold twice. the last buyer turned it over to Dean & DeWitt property management to manage the property. In thirty years I have never been late paying my rent nor received any negative correspondence from past owners. I set up my rent payments through my bank just like I did with past owners. As a first time renter I would never recommend renting from Dean & Dewitt. My partner and I have lived at our current location for almost a year now, and we cannot wait to be out! Our duplex is infested with dry wood termites! Termites here in Florida are common, I understand. As renter this issue should be handled. This has been an issue for almost the entire year of living here. Austin, I'm sorry you are not happy with our service. I must say, as a management company, it appears we did everything correctly. We responded quickly, kept you informed and had a vendor on-site as quickly as possible. We also received owner approval on additional work as well. We are limited in controlling where termites swarm, but we do our best to help where possible.
The agent, Steve was helpful. But they deducted my deposit for about $150, they showed me a video and put it on Youtube and explained here and there was damaged. But, I already took many pictures and sent them before, I asked they double check these photos and the email I sent them when I moved in. They just did not reply me. Since I have all the evidences and they did wrong with my deposit, I would like to solve this by law. It is not a big amount of money, but it is the question of principle.
