Listen to me and DO NOT rent here!! Save yourself the headache seriously. They do not care about their tenants. The good reviews come mostly from ppl buying or selling don’t get confused. Management is very unprofessional. They buy properties that they know nothing about raise rent with no improvements to the complex. We live close to their property on 900 3rd St. N, Saint Petersburg, FL. They say online they have a rigorous process of screening applicants, but it appears this is not the case. At that property someone is involved in drug use and possibly dealing as we have recovered drug paraphernalia that litters the area and have seen one such culprit throw their pipe into our area. George Dunigan is extremely unprofessional. I called for a simple.complaint and was not only over talked,called a liar but hung up on as well as laughed at. It's clear Dean and DeWitt has no respect for veterans or any of their tenants.
I was told that on the day I was due to move in I had to bring a money order. I confirmed that someone would be in the office until 4:00 which they were not. It wasn’t for the luck that one of their maintenance guys stopping by I would have been on the street for the holiday weekend. He was very helpful and I feel like he is the only one who cared. I haven’t heard any apology since then as well. I wish they would have taken my business more seriously.

I have lived in my apartment for almost 5 years. Dean & DeWitt have by far been the best management company I’ve encountered. They respond quickly , they’re personable and care about the renters. They handle maintenance issues and other issues is with a smooth and expedient manner. I love living here and it’s comforting to know I can always count on Dean & DeWitt to be there for me.

You sent my security deposit to the address I moved out of. I gave Russ the forwarding address MONTHS ago! You not respond to my emails asking what address you sent my security deposit to after I did not receive it for months. Renters beware!
They don’t answer phone calls or requests to speak with anyone. The only person there who is not rude and condescending is Mary Ellen. Everyone else sounds like they’re underpaid and hate their lives. We also had mold in our unit from the AC vents that forced us to throw countless items away with zero compensation. Stay away.
