This luxury hotel recently built by Churchill Downs is a very high quality experience. As people find out just how nice the rooms are they will want to stay there every time they come to Louisville. I was really amazed at the detail and craftsmanship of the many items in the new room. Bottom line it is nicer than hotels downtown that charge much more. Plus to have the entertainment and restaurant that doesn't break the bank - I'm going back soon.

Check in was a breeze but wasn’t told that hotel guests get a discounted price for breakfast and the $20 credit to play at its casino. Room was clean and the bed very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay except for one incident on the first night. Someone tried to enter our room at 3:00 am, sounded drunk and started yelling and pounding on the door. My husband told him he’s pounding on the wrong room and he better leave. It sounds funny now but it really scared us.
