Worst place!! Staff not proffessional at all!! Would not recommend this place! Garbage! Including the staff!
I am a veteran and the veteran program here was so good and helpful to my treatment.
The front desk staff are amazing. They answered any questions I had and were so helpful throughout my stay.
I struggled with alcohol my entire life. This rehab was a last resort but I got so much guidance here I do not think I would have survived without them.
I have a food allergy and the chef was very kind in making sure there was something righty and delicious that fit my diet. Thanks dh kitchen staff!
Just to let you know you do not get to have access to your phone for the first 5 days you are at Desert Hope. On the bright side at least you get to have it . Be sure you go to all your groups.
We were assured by the AAC call/admissions line that Desert Hope would be the perfect fit for my mother who had mobility issues. She needed assistance to get from a sit to stand position to use her front wheel walker. She arrived at around 7pm and it wasn't until the next day that I was told that she needed a higher level of care. Mom suffered a fall that day, was appropriately taken to the ED and sent back to Desert Hope. 2 people died. One from hanging the other had an OD in his room, he survived but only after he was blue, but not thanks to staff. Staff didn't know to get narcan for heroine OD. The guys roomate got it and dispensed it to him. Some of the classes the literally have you color (w/ no purpose) the whole time like I would have my small children do in a restaurant while waiting for dinner. I had an okay time, the food was not really healthy and I gained some weight. The TA's and case managers were very helpful on a day to day basis.
