I love this place. And they love my dog. She always gets out of the car excited to realize where we are. Who knew going to board for the weekend could be such a good time!?
*This review is just for the groomers* I've taken my dog here a few times and they always do a very good job. When I pick her up she seems a lot less traumatized than when I used to take her to Petsmart - so that's a huge plus! The only gripe I have is that they usually wash her before clipping - it seems a lot of places do this and I'm not really sure why. Doguroo is a great place! Our doggies love it there. The staff is great! You can definitely tell that they truly care about the pooches!! The grooming services are great and reasonable too! Highly recommend Doguroo!
I (my dog really) was one of their very first customers. When I worked close by, I took my little Daisy there for daycare several times a week. She loved it there and they loved her. I have many, many pictures as evidence (they take pictures every day and post them on the website) as well as many other assorted things (Daisy's certificate for winning the "most original Halloween costume" at their first Halloween party, Daisy's portrait from when the photographer was in to take pictures for the "back to school" night, etc.). ... read more
When it comes to my puppies, I don't think that obsessive or overprotective really even do my actions justice...so, leaving them is a struggle for me. That being said, Doguroo is sooo awesome that I was actually able to enjoy my first vacation away from my newest puppy. They have everything you could ask for--great staff, webcams, daily pics, daily head-to-toe checks before bed, big play area, doggy accessories for sale, premium food...and, AND there's even a frickin' vet onsite...complete one-stop shopping! Doguroo is by far the best doggie daycare and boarding in Atlanta! Our dogs adore doguroo. As soon as we say "doguroo" they both go crazy! The staff is fabulous and they go above and beyond to ensure the pups are having fun and are well taken care of. Hands down this is the most wonderful place to take your dog!!
I cant say enough about Doguroo and the people that work there. I live less then a mile from their location and called them when my dog got out a few weeks ago thinking someone may have turned her into them. They actually came out in the rain to help me look for her and when i pulled up they were on the side of the road with her and the family that found her. They put her in the car and took her back to Doguroo. Already that was great service, but they gave her a bath and had to wash her three times to get the smell out of... read more
Bronco, our Boston Terrier, seems to love this place. He goes for doggy day care at least one Saturday a month and we also use them for boarding. Although the staff may only see him one day a month, they call his name as he's walking through the door as if they just saw him. I'd like to think they remember him for his great personality and not for the pee and/or poop he may be leaving all over the place - they've never mentioned anything so I'm assuming it's the former.
A few more reasons to love Doguroo (formerly Wag-A-Lot): 1. Doggie video cameras. I worry about my precious Tikka during day care 'cause she's not the most social pup around. So while I'm at Octane just a few blocks away (in case something goes wrong), and pretending to work I can watch her the entire time. Soothes my soul.
