A few more reasons to love Doguroo (formerly Wag-A-Lot): 1. Doggie video cameras. I worry about my precious Tikka during day care 'cause she's not the most social pup around. So while I'm at Octane just a few blocks away (in case something goes wrong), and pretending to work I can watch her the entire time. Soothes my soul. They also post pictures at the end of every day of daycare so I can share pics of her and her little doggie friends. Yes, I do that. 2. Great selection of foods. Turns out my pup's a seriously picky ea... read more
Pros: Friendly staff, good selection of premium food, modern, clean, affordable, great grooming, the best daycare/boarding Cons: Not a huge selection of supplies in general I've bought a variety of different premium dog food here, and they have a frequent buyer card. You get the 11th bag free, which is awesome. Also, I was told that I could bring the food back if my puppy didn't like it. The facility looks clean, they have cameras set up so you can check in on your furbaby. The staff in general love what they do and care ab... read more
Went there for the dog's bath. Still the same great place. Staff is friendlier than Wag-A-Lot. Best dog bath for $15 that I have found in the city. Better than my bathtub.
I have been taking my dog here for about 9 months, when it was originally Wag-A-Lot....although I think most of the staff is still the same. I love this place because overall my dog comes home tired and wants to rest after her long day of play, and my long day of work. They have a large selection of great food and toys, and recently added a veterinary office which is fantastic because they can just grab your dog from daycare and put them back so you don't have to take time off. Also, they have free Starbucks coffee, it isn... read more
I've been a huge fan of Doguroo even before they changed their name to Doguroo because I had heard such great things about them from my coworkers. When I got my 1.5lb puppy 6 weeks ago, I immediately registered her with them so she could go hang out with the doggies there. Unfortunately, this is also when I discovered that most daycares will not take puppies younger than 4 months (since that is when they get vaccinated for Rabies), and Ruby was only 8 weeks old. Thankfully, Heather from Doguroo agreed that socializing Ruby ... read more
My pup is a regular here, mainly for daycare. She gets incredibly excited when we pull into the parking lot and she realizes where she gets to go for the day. The people who work here are passionate about dogs, and have always provided great service. We buy all our dog food and many of our toys here too - good selection available. I never have to worry about my 'child' here - they take great care of all the dogs! Added bonus is the vet office (Petwell) that is now next door - the vet can check out your dog while he/she is ... read more
My Husky is an only child. And considering it's middle of summer with highs in the 90s, it's a little warm for him to be playing outside in a dog park or going for walks. So thank God I found Wag-A-Lot. I love it because I can get the dog out of the house (so I can clean the ridiculous amount of fur) and it gets him TONS of exercise without giving him a heat stroke AND he gets to socialize. When I first brought my dog here, the didn't just dump him in with the rest of the pack. They slowly incorporated him with the other d... read more
Today, I called this business to inquire about availability for dog boarding and was hung up on. The lady on the phone seemed irritable and did not want to answer any questions. I suggest they place her somewhere with limited customer interaction, like the dog washing station, instead of answering the phone.
Business response:
We apologize for the negative experience you had when calling our business. We strive to provide excellent customer service and it is disappointing to hear that we fell short in this instance. We appreciate your feedback and will address the issue with our staff to ensure this does not happen again. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
I am extremely disappointed in Doguroo. my dog had been going to them for years and I had reservations for boarding for Thanksgiving and Christmas of this year (2023). All of a sudden, one week before Thanksgiving, they decided my dog needed to be re-evaluated to determine if he could board with them. I know my dog sometimes has issues with other dogs, but they had never informed of any issues they had had with my dog. Now, all of a sudden, with only a week left until Thanksgiving and with most boarding places full, they sai... read more
Business response:
We apologize for any inconvenience you experienced with our re-evaluation policy, Meredith. Our main priority is to ensure the safety and well-being of all dogs in our care. We understand your frustration and apologize for any miscommunication. We require all dogs who have not been to our resort for daycare/boarding in 6+ months to do a reassessment day for the safety of all staff and dogs. We do have notes that previous management spoke with you about the concern from the prior stay as well. If you have any further concerns... read more
