Does not yield nearly the number of pages advertised for Absolutely does not yield 30,000 pages, not even nearly 5,000! Less than 4 months of normal use and done! Smudges too!
Printing As much as I enjoy products from Brother the last few purchases I have had pertaining to this particular product haven't been Brother's standard of quality. My papers have been printing with a thick vertical black line on the left side of the paper. I have had to remove the carriage and wipe down the roller bar, which has been limiting the amount of darkness of the line on the left side of the paper I print.
Defective The drum totally ruined my copier and ended up having to buy a brand new copier! Messed the printing and insides up!
my drum quit working in a little more than 30 days--of course i missed the deadline for returns. quit working after a little more than 30 days--suppose to print 30,000 copy. very disappointed.
Makes a strange noise and now it is says I need a new one Bought this in February of this year and now, 6 months later, the printer is saying that I need a new drum. When I first installed it, it made a noise when printing, since it printed, I did not mind it. But now in 6 months it is saying that I need to replace it. I think this is ridiculous. did not work Opened it up, replaced as per instructions, did not work.. No toner in it..First time I have had an issue with a Brother ink cartridge. Would like money back for this ,one, Had to order another. Hoping it is a good one, or time for a new Brand printer
Lasted less thank 8,000 pages Lasted less than 8,000 pages.
Poor print fidelity and density. Huge disappointment; followed instructions to the letter and print quality much worse than what I replaced. Not sure why I paid top $ for genuine Brother replacement.
LEAVES STREAKS AND SPECS LEAVES STREAKS AND SPECS, PAPER COMES OUT EXTREMELY DIRTY. PLEASE REFUND OUR MONEY OR TELL US HOW TO GET GOOD QUALITY PRINTS.
