Not the BROTHER drum it used to be!! Our office has used Brother drum units for as long as I can remember. I am not sure what has changed but the drum I purchased in May 2021 and was not put into use until mid June has only lasted about 6 weeks. Usually they last about 5 months at least!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED!
Defective product The drum makes spotty copies, and produces a grinding noise when printing. I am planning on returning it to Amazon or Costco.
Compatible? This is not genuine it says compatible with DR820. MY printer keeps jamming!
Received a defective drum unit for $122! Had excellent experiences using brother genuine drum units for my hL-l6200dwt in the past. The resent purchase was defective. Only printed less than 300 pages and the print quality was severely compromised. Leaked toner marks spotting each page. There's a permanent black border that's printed in every single page regardless of how often the drum or toner are reset. On the drum itself, you can see that there's a "burnt" toner marks that cannot be cleaned off. I've become an advocate fo... read more
Started printing black pages. Purchased this in order to make sure the printer performed correctly and now the printer is printing black pages initially and then normal printing afterwards. We replaced the drum with a cheaper alternative and have not had the same issue since. Called Brother and asked them to replace the defective drum but they refused stating that we needed to go back to the original retailer but it has been more than 30 days because we purchase office supplies before we need them not afterward. Quality The drum did not work and just yesterday I realize this. Can I get replacement even you close the return date?. Please advise
Where is ink? Last drum lasted only 7,000 pages, not 30,000 as advertised. New replacement came at zero %, see photo. Meaning it was empty out of the box. This is getting ridiculous. 🤔
