I don't recommend this. scanner broke, parts are flimsy, I don't recommend this.
One Star The scanner broke after only two months.
1) Good mechanical quality 1) Good mechanical quality, with smooth operation, no jamming... 2) Works well on Windows 7, including with LibreOffice Writer, (insert -> image -> scan ) 3) Scanning Quality (600DPI) is excellent, including in color. 4) Documentation is poor for Windows, inexistant for LibreOffice on Windows, extremely poor for Linux Specific: On Fedora 20 (x86_64) / Red Hat Linux, the documentation is terrible, the technical support totally inadequate ("We do not support Linux"). Needs improvement I got this for scanning receipts into Quickbooks. I got it set up using the included software so I could just insert a receipt, and it would scan the receipt Two issues that make me un-recommend this scanner: 1. If you are trying to scan in one of those super-long receipts from the last office shopping trip to Sam's (or wherever), the default settings will have the scan process throw up its hands after 14 inches. I would like to reimburse me the money I came with manufacturing defect, and I can not return because the transportation costs are very high, I would like to reimburse me the money.
One Star says printer on top but only a sanner
deceptive advertising This is a scanner it does not print, if it does print enlighten me, because all I can do is scan with it! It would be great to get step by step online video training on how to use the receipt and business card software, have not been able to find any step by step help online.
Product Misleading You guys are crook I bought a printer that was advertised on your site and this product is NOT a printer is only a scanner.
Did Not Work! I think I would have liked it if it had worked. Looking forward to getting my replacement. I was also worried that the manufacturer did not have the serial number in their system, like they had no knowledge of the product.
