This scanner does not work with Windows 10 This scanner constantly fails to scan documents on a HP Windows 10 laptop. It returns a "usb communication error" virtually every time I try to scan a document. I've uninstalled & reinstalled the latest drivers, to no avail. Do not purchase this product. Consider yourself warned.

No good for multi-page scanning I could not get this scanner to accept a multiple-page document in one PDF. Tried over and over but kept cutting off at 2 or 3 pages. Finally gave up and sent the thing back. Do not buy this product if you need to scan documents that are multiple pages!
Don't waste your time or money. Really terrible. Fresh out of the box it feeds paper askew every time, mangles the leading edge, and half the time gets onto such a bad tilt that it crumples the paper. Will definitely be returning this piece of garbage.

A complete waste of money NOT WORKING at all with my Imac or Macbook on the latest update. I only got to use this scanner for about a month until I did an update on my computer. And I unistalled the software and reinstalled as directed. A complete waste of money.

I actually bought the same model one year ago. ... I actually bought the same model one year ago. It abruptly quit working one day and would only show a black page as the results of a scan. We cleaned the scanner and re-calibrated it as directed. We also tried it on two other computers with the same results. Our office also used Brothers chat support, which was not able to resolve the issue. Our last attempt was to take it in for service. Accompanying Software CD was blank! The scanner itself is fine, but one of the main reasons I got this one was the software (Nuance PaperPort 12 SE), however the CD that arrived with the scanner looked a bit off...the label was crooked and just lazy looking. After trying to run it with no success on multiple machines, I looked at the back side and it was blank (ie, no software was written on it)!
