Does Not Scan Photos This may work for documents, but it does NOT scan photos effectively. I intended to use this for archive work, but I replaced it twice because of issues with photo scanning, and I'm sending it back again for a refund today. She told me she would give me a better phone number to reach directly to scanner tech support I just got this today. Called tech support. After 13 minutes on hold, rep told me that I got printer dept, not scanner. She told me she would give me a better phone number to reach directly to scanner tech support, and then proceeded to give me the phone number that I had called. She could not explain discrepancy, but promised to connect me directly to someone in scanner tech support. It is now 19:54 and they finally picked up.
crap I have been trying since January2017 to figure out the reciepts software. I finally decided it is a piece of crap, if i had a nickle for each hour for all the time i have wasted trying to scan reciepts, i could have bought a much better product. Piece of s***.. Total waste of time and money. Period.
No full duplex in Windows 10 Can not get it to scan in full duplex. Contacted Brother and they never got back to me. People state it works in Windows 10 but Brother site does not state that. The manual does not say one word about duplex. And can not find any place in B-R Receipts for adjusting duplex. Any help would be appreciated!

A problematic purchase I bought the Brother DS-720D Mobile Duplex when my 5 year old Neat scanner gave up the ghost. The Brother scanner is faster and the ability to press a button on the scanner and have it scan the document without needing to start an application is great. I have had a few problems: • It doesn’t handle long cash receipts – maybe receipts are longer here in Georgia than elsewhere.
