Cleaned ducts and furnaces in both of our HVAC systems. Power-washed the blower in the primary system. Did a very professional, thorough job. They were here from about 9:00 AM until 4:30 PM. They used drop cloths to protect our floors and worked very carefully.The job went very well and all details were explained.
Hired Ductz to clean HVAC system (includes up to 10 vents/registers, supply & return ducts, supply & return trunks, risers, plenums, mech'l cleaning (air tools & vac) of air handler components) plus 3 additional returns, prior to having a new evaporator coil installed. Called to have my dryer vent cleaned upon purchasing a home.They were able to come out the same day. Did a great job cleaning the vent, were professional and prompt. Even game me a discount since there was no dryer to move/disconnect. We have not moved in yet. Would use them again.
HVAC unit cleaned, duct work cleaned and dryer vent cleaned.Jamie and Chris did an awesome job. The were very careful to ensure that our house was protected during the cleaning by placing drop cloths on the floor and corner protectors too. Cleaned all air vents and returns (total of 19) as well as furnace unit.I called Scott on a Saturday and he explained in detail the process they would follow - not just using a vacuum but brushes as well. Since my furnace unit was replaced several years ago, he explained that the basic cleaning of that would be included in the price. (If the unit is older it may require more detailed cleaning that would be at an additional cost.) Ducts of the Upper Bay Region did an outstanding job! First they looked at my vents and determined that they did not need cleaning. Loved the honesty. Then they did clean my dryer vent but also noticed that the vent was actually venting into my attic not outside the house! They fixed that at no charge and then after fixing others in the area ( all the houses had the same problem) CAME BACK to fix it again a better way that they had discovered. Still no charge. Our duct work (extensive) was inspected and cleaned. All aspects of the air handling system were carefully and thoroughly cleaned including fans, filters, plenums, axillary heating units and vents.The flexible foil dryer vent duct running through a crawl space was replaced (at our request) with a solid smooth pipe.A badly soiled carpet was cleaned.Work could not have been done more professionally. Identified every supply and return outlet in home. Inspected air handler, furnace and air conditioner.
