First off, our appt. was for 10:30am and finally a 11:30, they took us in so waiting one whole hour late was not fun. We should have left after the first 1/2 hour of waiting. I made the appt. because I needed a refill on medication for my dog. It had been over a year since we were there and he needed an exam. I asked how much the exam would be and the gal told me $35. After the 'exam' I was told he needs blood work and urine test. ALL I WANTED was a refill for meds. When I went to pay, the $35 quote turned into $273!!... read more
Would also put 0 stars if that were an option. These people are scam artists! They cheat you out of your money and take advantage of people without medical knowledge. They manipulated my husband into paying $500 for x-rays, blood tests, medicine, etc. for a cat with diarrhea. Completely ridiculous! I was unable to go with my husband because I was at work (as a registered nurse at Loma Linda), and they guilted him into signing up for all sorts of expensive treatments. I got there to pick the cat up, and told them how wrong it... read more
Just had a horrible experience at this hospital with my dog. Yes, it is very clean when you first walk into this hospital. The front desk is friendly until you decide to leave. Be prepared for very expensive estimates. I had to leave because they kept on coming up with expensive test and x-rays. Also, a very good thing to know is that they won' t keep your animal over night to be observed or given fluids. The front desk actually told me good luck trying to find a doctor who will . I immediately took my poor dog in pai... read more
Today was my first time taking my dog to this clinic. I have to say the doctor was nice and the place is clean but...the front desk needs new employees. One lady with red hair (with bangs and multiple ear piercings) who works at the front desk was very rude. She told me how much it was going to be since the doctor saw my dog for allergies, $84.32 When i questioned the lady to tell me the breakdown of the prices she seemed put out. Then I asked if i had to have a certain cream for $30.00 she said she would ask the doctor.... read more
ZERO stars if I could. We brought our puppy into East Valley Pet Hospital and was told she had Parvo. They hardly explained anything and started treating her immediately due to the severity of this diagnosis. We visited the next day and our puppy was not hooked up to any fluid IV's or any other type of medication, which is the treatment for Parvo. We then received a call at 5pm the same day saying she was being a burden on them and that she was fine to come home. When we arrived we were never given an itemized invoice, they ... read more
A one star is appropriate for this place. For me, there are two types of vets: 1) The ones that are animal lovers and joined the business through passion and 2) The ones that saw it as a good paying job and are often times of foreign decent which means they were expected by there families to become some sort of doctor, dentist or in this case a type of doctor that required much less schooling and money. As you have probably guessed it, number 2 is the option chosen here. This vet is terrible with communication and I mea... read more
