A good place for minor checkups and shots. The price for shots on Wednesday after 3pm is great. Seems like you can't beat that (unless I'm missing out on another place - let me know, please). The doctors are okay and seem like they just want to tell you what's wrong with your animal and then rush you out. Front staff seem like they have absolutely no clue about what they are doing. They have zero knowledge in pets and are only there to compliment on how cute your animal is. I feel quite uncomfortable going there for when my ... read more

Negligent. I've had terrible experiences with two of my dogs under very different circumstances. The first was when my Great Pyrenees had cancer. We were prescribed a great deal of medication just days before the test results came back and we made the decision to put him down. Not only did they want a ridiculous amount of money to perform the euthanasia (that the Humane Society did for free in a very caring and respectful manner) but we were told that they expected the results and pretty much knew the medication would be use... read more

I am so extremely disappointed in this animal hospital. My fiancé and I have taken 3 of our animals to this place and have given A TON of money and I am so upset by the way I was treated today. Yesterday I brought my 4 month old kitten in to be spayed after having already taken her twice in the past. I paid $200 for the surgery (much more expensive than anywhere else but she is our world and we wanted the best for her, which we assumed $200 would get us) After picking her up, I was given pain pills and knew they would make h... read more

Can you give less then 1 star? If so, these people should die in hell for the actions he took upon the kitten. The vet Doctor by the name of ranjit Jammu had told us if we don't get a liver wash and antibiotics done immediately our cat would die. After speaking to him with a sorrow mind set, he tried taking advantage of the situation and taking as much money as possible. He didn't want the benefit of my cat living. He only had one idea in mind. MONEY MONEY MONEY. Mr Jammu shouldn't be a doctor and stripped away from all his ... read more

Took my dog for a checkup. $304 later.... Driving home I see my dog bleeding from his back foot! I took a look at his foot and my dog is missing a toe nail!!! He's whole toe nail missing!!! Something happened to my dog during the exam! I returned to East Valley and asked them what happened?! No answer! The front staff is rude and unprofessional. I will not take my dog back to East Valley Hospital again!!! (pictures of my dogs foot enclosed)

I hate to give bad reviews, but I don't think I will be taking my dog here ever again. It's sad because the nurses are so friendly, and a couple of the vets are good, but the times I've been there I've spent over a $100! The last time was for a routine check up, which the bill came back with just shy of $300! The check up cost $35, they wanted to do testing (where they weren't even sure anything was wrong) which was $35, they wanted to put inserts in his ears (before the test results would have even come back) which was $65,... read more

I have been there three times. My puppy was having difficulty breathing and they helped with that, which I'm grateful for, but once she started getting better she got worse again, she started having diarrhea and throwing up and wouldn't eat, the las time I went in they charged me for so much, just to check her and try to find out what was wrong, they called me and told me that my puppy didn't have anything though!! How can a sick puppy having bloody and mucus in her stool, not being able to control her bowel movements (as ev... read more

I went in late night (about 9:00 pm) with a stray kitty with a bad eye. The front office staff were very friendly. The late night exam fee is $55 as opposed to $35 for daytime/appointment exam. Waited for almost an hour (not bad). The vet came out and looked at the kitty's eye through the carrier. Vet didn't know what was wrong and the cloudiness in his eye wasn't typical. Took him back for antibiotics shot and that was that. $125!!! Wth!!! The vet never even examined the kitty. It was difficult to catch him in the first pla... read more

No, don't try to call. I had a bunny with two broken legs and they put me on hold. It died on my lap 15 minutes later and I hung up crying. I don't care how many calls you have at the same time, you still don't put someone at hold. It breaks my heart that an animal hospital would put someone on hold at all. Just imagine watching a dog die by liver failure and months after seeing a dying bunny on your lap stop breathing. I don't care how nice the vets are,if you can't get an animal fast enough, you'll have a hard time explaini... read more
