I do not recommend taking your animal here. The attending vets are inexperienced. I took in a feral cat and assumed it was not spayed, this was then "verified" by Dr. Troxel, I returned to have the cat spayed and was told that the cat was in fact already spayed. Perfect no fees for me! WRONG. I had to pay the entire fee $300 even though no surgery took place. Not even a reduced fee. "But we opened her up, so basically the procedure did happen" FOH
I was told I could walk-in & we were turned away. All we wanted was a hip x-Ray to compare it to previous x-Ray they took a few years ago. My dog is in pain & they didn't care. They should have told us to come early and wait rather than make it seem as if we could come in the afternoon. My husband could have taken him earlier had they told us to come earlier when I called trying to make an appointment. What's crazy is that no one but us were in the lobby so maybe they were busy in the back or they didn't want to be busy... read more

There was definitely a lack of communication on our behalf when we talked with you on the phone. I can understand your perception that we did not care about your pet. Our lobby did not have anyone waiting, but we did have 4 of our 5 exam rooms full. The doctor was also preparing for surgery. You were correct that the staff was busy in the "back". I am April. Troys mama . I am his owner, as well as his voice . I do what I can on my part to protect and care for him to my best ability. Yesterday October 29th 2019 I left east valley in tears . Mind you I'm not the type to make cry easily . After going on 4th hour waiting we were declined service. They asked me to step out with Troy. He was "too aggressive" to provide service to. This place is disgusting! I took my fur baby here a few months back, she was limping for a while so we took her in and they said she needed a $1000 surgery but they couldnt even tell me what was wrong. While my husband and i began to talk it over to see what our options where the lady said well since you have to even think about it you might as well put her to sleep .....what excuse me??? I spent 3 1/2 hours here for a walk in. There were plenty of staff on sight then all of a sudden grub hub comes in and 80% of the staff went to have a little party in the back. Y'all should probably work on keeping your customers satisfied.

I'm not going to be hateful, but find another vet! My last baby was on 15 (not an exaggeration) medications with no definitive diagnosis. She passed. I feel terrible to this day for putting her through the forced medication and all that came with it. X-rays, biopsy that they didn't even suture, so the little hole on her tummy kept leaking. Really disappointed with the new staff here. We've gone here for 10 years. We used to get wonderful, affordable care. We put 3 dogs to sleep there. The last few years they have been steadily declining. Long wait times and extreme overcharging. My dog needed a dental treatment and they quoted me $1500! I took her to Banning Veterinary Hospital and not only were they AMAZING, but my final bill with 6 extractions, was $350! Sad to say, but I won't be going back. I really miss the old veterinarians. :(
Took my dog here on a Saturday and the staff was absolutely wonderful. Had a couple procedures done and some tests ran and left there happy. Fast forward a couple days, got a call from the Vet ( I missed it so she left a voicemail) to discuss my dog's results. I called the office back and the vet tech Hailey answered the phone. We took our dog to them because he was vomiting and had a seizure. They came back to us with an estimate of over $1200.00 to do tests and said that we would still have to take him to the 24 hour hospital off of Barton Road in Grand Terrace, because they were closing and would not have anyone there overnight to monitor him . We paid them over $225.00 for them to tell us that we had to take him to a different hospital. Our dog died on the way to the 24 hour hospital.
