I was dreading the day my mum had to go into a care home. After much looking and scrutinizing we visited Eccleshare I didn't want my mum somewhere big but as soon as we walked in it felt right and we as a family were sold! Everything and everybody is brilliant, the couple of teething problems we have had were resolved quickly. Mum now looks well and more importantly I know she is safe and well cared for. Positives - great staff, very caring, friendly and helpful. The atmosphere in the nursing home is relaxed. Every problem we had was met with care and consideration. Director of staff on desk excellent. Most importantly I feel our patient is in safe hands. I feel everyone in this nursing home does their very best.

My husband has attended Eccleshare Court for some months for both daycare and respite care. He thoroughly enjoys his days and is always well entertained and looked after. The service and support we have received from everyone working in the home has been outstanding, from the receptionist to the manager. I have had some very difficult times with my husband but the support, particularly from the manager has been beyond expectations. My father came here after a couple of other local homes weren't giving him the care I expected. He had a number of illnesses and went downhill rapidly and was on an end of life care plan. It was heartbreaking for us. Our dad was permanently in bed and a shell of the man he was. We never expected him to get out of bed again. However, during his last few weeks, he perked up. My aunt has been a resident at Eccleshare Court for around eight years. She is content, happy and very well looked after, by caring and attentive staff, at every level. This is a great comfort to her family, none of whom live locally. We have confidence that her well being is of the highest standard and higher than other care homes I have had dealings with in various parts of the country. Celebrations for her very special birthday were a joy for all residents.

Facilities and activities here are very good and there are some very dedicated and caring staff members. Personal care was mostly good. Management fell short in my opinion which concerned me.

Eccleshare Court has provided my mother with exceptional care since she moved in mid-Feb of this year. The staff are simply amazing and everyone treats her with kindness, love, dignity and enthusiasm. Mum has enjoyed frequent trips out to various places and the activities. Staff work tirelessly to provide fun, stimulation and enjoyment for all residents.

Good care. Dad treated with dignity and respect. Staff friendly and helpful lots to do for residents if they want to - not forced into anything they don't want to do. Always clean.
