Downtown Reno, like many major cities is in decline. Lots of homelessness and sketchy businesses. That said, if you stay in the hotel it’s all fine.

Long weekend with more than a dozen friends. My corner room was clean and quiet except for very lood music from a truck on the Saturday night that went until about midnight. Housekeeping did an excellent job. Check-in on late afternoon Friday was slow, however. There was a long line of people and only three people working the registration desk. They were working hard and efficiently. But waiting in the line and checking in took about a half-hour. There were about 15 people behind me. I don't know how long they had to wait. Y... read more
