Our room had been remodeled
Shuttle service was confusing and not prompt as we were told. We used taxi service after waiting too long for the shuttle. Seemed like what we were told at bell desk wasn’t the way it worked.
A group of 7 have been going to Reno and staying at the Eldorado for years, but it my opinion service and hospitality is in decline. Our flight arrived early in the day and we were told that we would have to pay a fee if we wanted our rooms before 2:30. Then when checking in we could not get rooms together because we had all booked rooms of different standards. Great room.
This looks like a hotel that is more than ready to renovate the guest rooms. Bathroom sink must have been put in for really short persons. Stationary amenities in the bathroom had been removed and only the empty brackets were on the wall. Tiny bottles of shampoo and soap and a really small soap bar were present … something you might see at a very budget hotel. My guess is Caesars will be renovating El Dorado after Silver Legacy gets done. They’ve been spending some big bucks on restaurant and bar venues.

The room was not very clean and also the room was ready when we got there 4:00pm
Did not being in a smoking room but house keeping came in and sprayed helped a bit
