Tony provided excellent service! We had a controls issue with our heat pump and Tony was extremely helpful, very knowledgeable, very courteous, explaining everything very clearly and patiently. I highly recommend that all existing or future customers demand him directly for any or all technical support!
Our Lennox electric furnace which was purchased from and installed by Electro-Aide only 16 months ago stopped working today (Saturday) when the daytime temperature is minus 15 degrees Celcius outside. I called for a technician and was told it would cost me $450 for the first hour. Outrageous!! I will wait until Monday morning to schedule the service and hope my pipes don't freeze in the interim but so far I am not impressed by the after sales service. To be continued... Update. My heat pump was purchased a few years ago from Electro-Aide via Costco. Everything is fine until the day before yesterday. The control panel lost power in the night. I called the office immediately. A lady answered me very quickly. After discussion, she promised me someone will call me at next day morning. During a recent cold spell, i had an issue with the furnace not providing enough heat. Despite what was probably a high volume of calls, Mark called me back the same day, tried to walk me through resolving the issue by phone, and when it was clear it was an equipment issue, dispatched a technicien (Damien) quickly. Wow, what a great experience, despite an early, Saturday call for a faulty furnace issue. Their tech, Tony, was amazing. Polite, courteous and a true professional. He is easily the best tech I have ever dealt with, thorough, conscientious , a true pro with a happy, friendly demeanour. Sang the whole time here, such a pleasure watching someone who enjoys what they are doing. Good on you Electro-Aide, Tony’s a keeper.
Electro aide Service was fantastic. Helpful from beginning to end. So much knowledge and experience you would be crazy to go anywhere else. They were so kind and kept the work area spotless. They even helped my wife carry in the groceries as she was in a walking boot. Thank you to the entire staff. My house is nice and warm and I am glad I went with Electro aide.
