We cannot thank the staff enough for the kind attention and for the needs and care Mom has had. It is not home but she is usually happy there. The staff at Pinecrest has been wonderful. Again, thank you for your guidance.
Elison Pinecrest is a great value for what you're getting for an apartment. My parents have had to complain several times about getting cold food during the breakfast buffet that they serve. And they run low on food in the dining room. My parents are having to cook most days. But they love their apartment and having a community to make friends. So overall it's a good fit for them. The amenities and trips offered are amazing! The option of "Independence Plus" is unique to Pinecrest.
The facilities are very clean. The cleanliness is beyond reproach. All areas of the facility are set up with the residence in mind. The staff are extremely attentive in very caring. The staff treat all residents very respectfully and they treat them like their own. It's truly a wonderful place to see. The amount of patience that the staff has for the residence in the activities that they carry out with them. I really very nice.
They are WONDERFUL!! They are the best thing about the place! I'm not going to lie--my mother can be very difficult. And everyone there has always been super kind and great to us.
We appreciate the opportunity to share feedback on our recent experience. Overall, we found the community to be well-kept and welcoming, and we could tell that many residents were happy there. Unfortunately, it just wasn’t the right fit for my grandmother. The main challenge was social connection. She didn’t know anyone at the community and found it difficult to make meaningful connections. I would rate everything a 5. My only complaint (sort of) is the limited dining hours. All the staff is super friendly and helpful, as well as most residents. There are lots of activities every day. My aunt thinks the food is surprisingly good, although ding hours are limited.
Our experience here so far has been better than expected. Washer/dryer connections in apartment.
. Overall the property is old with many problems. The dining room does not provide menu ordering, only buffets. There are a lot of people in independent living who would be better off in assisted living but management pushes to fill apartments regardless of the person's abilities. There is a high turnover rate.....not sure how much is health related.
