I also rented a condo through Elliott. I had to cancel because of a health issue. My issue is every time you call there you get a different answer. I was told that they would try to re-rent my condo and I would get a refund minus $100.00. When I seen my condo was not available for my week I called and was told I would get the full refund because the condo owner took the rental away from Elliott. I arrived 10/29/20 to unlock push key door. While avoiding human defecation on the inner stairs, holding my breath and shining a light to see, it was a bad start that only got worse. Last several years of condo rentals have been horrible, Rooms are filthy, have not been cleaned or sanitized. This last rental at Ocean Bay we found a dirty diaper behind night stand, hair in sink, old food in freezer, trash in trash can. food on tables and chairs, floors not clean or swept. I am not sure why you never received a letter from us stating that this had been done. However, I am going to issue another letter to you.
Checked into a Beach House, and the pool was nasty and turning green. The house hadn't been cleaned. Found pills and needles laying around in the house. Black mold was on the floor, walls, and air conditioner vents. The refrigerator didn't work. Made a complaint and was told they would call me back. They never called back for 3 days. Didn't clean the pool until the 4th day we was their. Would not recommend.

We had scheduled a vacation for the 1st week in August. Due to the Pandemic and South Carolina being put on the quarantine list for the state I live in, we had to cancel. I would not have been able to go back to my job for 2 weeks which I could not do. I am a Canadian so I cannot enter the United States due to the Covid-19 pandemic. I contacted Elliot Beach Rental by phone on May 21 to discuss cancelling my 2-week reservation and was told that I would not received a refund unless someone else booked my weeks. This is ridiculous because all other rental agencies have given refunds for cancellations related to Covid-19.
