I'm at Naugatuck down we checked in Saturday. Got a text at 12:49pm it was ready. I am still recovering from a surgery I had and didn't know I would have to clean on vacation but So far we have found the back yard grass grown up and trash everywhere, someone did clean the yard. the beds were filthy I washed the covers in the leaking washer. After reading all the reviews I see that there is surely a problem with Elliott Realty. We went to Vacation Rental By Owner (VRBO) and after we clicked on making a reservation found that it was not VRBO but a rental company (Elliott Rental). Too late to change, but we were hoping that it would be okay. We stayed at Somers by the Sea 1 with the Windy Hill Office of Elliott from June 19th to the 26th. I booked a reservation with Elliot Realty for a house in Cherry Grove in early October 2020. The amount was paid in full a month before we were to arrive as stated in the contract. 28 hours prior to my arrival on June 5, 2021, I received a call that the owner was doing reconstruction with no type of explanation. Elliot offered me an "upgraded" house in South Myrtle beach that was not on a channel and it was at least 45 minutes from where I wanted to be. I have reached out to your rental office multiple times (the 1st two emails with NO response), my 1st call to file a very valid complaint ended with 0 rectification and I was told, by the agent Vanessa, that I couldn't even speak to a manager until the day before checkout to file any grievances. I would have given no stars but that's not an option. This has to be the worst place to rent from. We were told it was a house, turns out it's a condo. We have three parking spots come 7 bedrooms... not to mention we weren't allowed to enter our property until after 7pm-and then we had to clean the unit ourselves but we weren't allowed to enter when we arrived to clean it. I can't even give them 1 star but had to give something to post this. This is a disgustingly long story. Condo wasn't cleaned, food left in refrigerator, food on counter top, dog hair everywhere (no pets allowed), body fluids on sofa w dog hair, dog bones under the furniture, parking was for compact cars but we had 3 trucks. It was a terrible experience right from day 1. With no idea where to pickup the keys, we were roaming at night from one Elliot office to other, with zero hospitality from the representatives available on emergency hotline. Then started the nightmare when we reached the apartment. With filthy closets to uncleaned dishes to broken tiles, to a not working washer dryer and dishwasher and above all apartment where someone had smoked.
