I am writing this review as I have not received a response from a letter that was written to the President of Elliott Beach Rentals expressing our dissatisfaction with our stay at the condo and requesting an appropriate refund. My friend and I rented Oceans 605 in North Myrtle Beach for 2 weeks, October 9-23, 2021. Due to the condo's inferior condition, the accommodations failed to meet our expectations. Company posts pictures for nice clean rentals and the pictures do not match reality. Beds in disrepair have gross foam toppers, roaches in rooms, closets full of trash and junk and unusable, furniture rough stains everywhere and when you complain no response will not rectify situation. Buyer beware this company is very deceptive.

I was given the wrong rental despite booking more than 10 months in advance. For some unknown reason, my reservation was cancelled and changed to a different rental. I had the confirmation email and receipt for my rental. I made my specific reservation because the beach access was accessible for individuals with limited/impaired mobility which I made clear over the phone when booking. My vacation was canceled by Elliott Realty 10 days prior to my arrival date because the home had been double booked- the owner rented it on Airbnb and I rented through Elliott Realty. I originally booked the house on 4/4/21 for a vacation from 8/7-8/14/21 and was informed of this mess on 7/28/21. The unit we stayed in was very dirty. It had apparent mold near one of the vents, stuff leaking out of the walls near the tub, floor trim popping up and no master balcony furniture. We had to spend our first couple of hour of vacations doing Elliott Rentals job. They don't seem to have a problem sending you a message when your room is ready, when they know it isn't. Had to give a 1, but wouldn't give that if it were an option. My family and I recently stayed in An Ocean View Cottage #2 from July 24-31, 2021. Upon arrival, approximately around 8:30 p.m. which was after check-in time, we walked into a completely filthy and disgusting house and lots of broken items or not working. I would give 0 stars but bits not a option!! Where to even start... without writing a novel!! I'll make it as short as possible! The furniture was outdated!! It looked like it was in a war cushions ripped off the couch and the pull out bed was broke!! We had to lay the mattress on the floor!! I'm at Naugatuck down we checked in Saturday. Got a text at 12:49pm it was ready. I am still recovering from a surgery I had and didn't know I would have to clean on vacation but So far we have found the back yard grass grown up and trash everywhere, someone did clean the yard. the beds were filthy I washed the covers in the leaking washer. I bought the lien package it was delivered at 7 pm, didn't know it included dirty lien.
