A dear friend was given the wrong prescription (double dose) by his doctor, plus wasn't eating & drinking enough, then got a nose infection. Result: sudden collapse and mentally foggy. We went to the Emergency at St. David's and after many hours, when we thought he would be given maybe a week of rehab there, a woman came in from Encompass and informed us that he would be transferred to Encompass that night. This place is dangerous if your loved one has drug allergies! And their management seems broken. The regular staff and therapists are very caring, though, and the facility itself is quite nice. My dad was given a possibly fatal drug for 4 days without any word to me, even though the drug was clearly contraindicated by one of his two major conditions. Their pharmacist happened to mention it to me & I told him to stop it ASAP. Called the next day and they had dosed him with it a 5th time. I complained and they stopped, but th... read more

My grandpa died at that place. He was 89 years old and that dumb physical therapist over worked him by making him do exercises and therapy his little heart couldn't handle. He was there so that they could watch and drain his lungs daily. I should have known it was a bad place when one of the nurses had to call my mom and ask her how to do it. They wouldn't allow him to come him until they felt he was strong enough to make it on his own but they worked him so hard that he had a heart attack and died. They showed no remorse o... read more

Facility is clean and open. We checked in our patient in the last couple of days and we were assured by the Reliant liaison who interfaced with the patient at the hospital that the patient will receive uninterrupted care when arrived at the facility, including vital medications. Patient supposed to be on IV antibiotics in addition to pain meds post multiple trauma surgeries. IV was unhooked for the transport between facilities. Upon arrival, pain meds were delayed more than 2 hours and other medications delayed longer, despi... read more

If you want to receive care that is indifferent, or downright substandard by supposedly trained, licensed healthcare practitioners who display no adherence of personal standards of conduct, then go to this place! My family member received very poor care, and my concern for his care and treatment were only met with an air of impatience by case management and therapists. They do not even ascribe to their own written proclamations of patients' rights during care and treatment.
