I know I cannot burst the bubbles of those glowing reports, however; this is quite a negative version. I was sent here because I had researched it and was looking forward to the rehabilitation part. I was in extreme pain due to Doctor Webb sending me there with a ruptured spine and related issues. However, the two doctors in charge told me to continue with the program and the staff pushed me to join. My dad is in this facility and he is not being cared for. He has Type 1 Diabetes and they took him off his pump. They do not know how to care for him at all. They do not give him insulin when needed and refuse to listen to his Endocrinologist. This puts him in danger. I absolutely would not put a family member or myself in their incapable hands. Regardless of his rehab, this is a major issue.

Encompass is not a competent company. They care nothing about the patient. Only their own interest. The nurse in charge of our father's care didn't listen to our dad or his family. Be careful when considering.

Dysfunctional staff and hospital. I'm Hispanic and the front desk person told me I was a housekeeper- yes seriously. The case manager was planning on letting my mom die from no oxygen at home. They had the nerve to discharge her with a tank and tell me it would last all night which is completely untrue. I had to call and arrange oxygen myself. Also, when my mother was admitted with acute weakness from pneumonia LITERALLY NO ONE KNEW OR WAS TREATING HER FOR HER CONDITION. I HAD TO ASK IF SHE WAS GETTING PLAVIX BECAUSE THEY ... read more

A dear friend was given the wrong prescription (double dose) by his doctor, plus wasn't eating & drinking enough, then got a nose infection. Result: sudden collapse and mentally foggy. We went to the Emergency at St. David's and after many hours, when we thought he would be given maybe a week of rehab there, a woman came in from Encompass and informed us that he would be transferred to Encompass that night.
