This place has the most incompetent case management team I have ever seen and I'm saying that as a registered nurse who works in the hospital with case managers all the time. Physical therapy, speech therapy and occupational therapy were very helpful for my father after he suffered a stroke and very competent. But unfortunately Olumide was my fathers case manager, and I suggest if he gets assigned to you or your family member, you should immediately ask for a different case manager. My nina stayed at this place she slipped and they never filed a report . She was in room 109 before they took her to the hospital and she had back surgery due to the fall my nina says . Please watch your loved ones when left here

The nurses and physical therapy people treated my mom very well I have nothing but compliments for them. But Inma The case worker who was supposed to follow up on my mothers care and stay in contact with our family was straight up worthless. Very unprofessional and did not help in anyway at all. The place itself and stuff is good but I would recommend switching caseworkers if they assign you to Inma 11/25/19 Also I did contact the staff at encompass and notified them of the problems that we were having and they switched us ... read more

I have been a Masters prepared RN for over 44 years. I am absolutely astounded at the poor care my family member had here this month. She had a stroke. She was left in urine and stool for hours, all night, she was left without therapy or even nursing assistant care. When my Daughter in-law went to seek their explanation for the lack of oversight they dumped her mother home without even preparing the correct home care for speech therapy. I have never seen such horrid care. This place needs to be shut down. Poor help, poorly e... read more

She was left in urine and stool for hours, all night, she was left without therapy or even nursing assistant care. When my Daughter in-law went to seek their explanation for the lack of oversight they dumped her mother home without even preparing the correct home care for speech therapy. This is the worst place every to take your loved one's or friends for care. I wouldn't even recommend HealthSouth for my enemy. The lack of professionalism and communication is a priority here instead of the care and cleanliness of its facility and the patients that are admitted for care. Hospitals should be ashamed to refer people for rehabilitation, long term or even long term care. I would fire all Administration and Social Service and replace the lead Nursing staff with people who really care.
