We had pipe burst in our basement. Excellent came out immediately. They worked with me to figure out where it was coming from and made sure they only had to cut drywall where was necessary to get to the problem. They were able to fix the issue quickly and recommended services to help with the drywall and insulation replacement. Would highly recommend

If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would. I definitely found my plumbing company and would say plumbers of the year...or century for that matter. I had just moved myself from the Southern CA mountains back to Buffalo Grove where I also owned a condo (arriving on a cold snowy Saturday night). The condo had sat empty for some time so upon arrival, there were many items that needed immediate service or replacement. At the top of the list was my water heater that would not put out any hot water. Based on reviewing the water h... read more

We had a bad kitchen sink leak. Water was everywhere under the sink. Excel answered my message on a Sunday, and got a plumber out in a reasonable amount of time. The plumber told me that needed a new faucet and one shut off value no longer worked. He recommended changing both valves at once, which we did. The plumber got everything done in one visit, and even went to Home Depot to get a needed part (at no extra charge). Price was very reasonable. Plumber was very courteous. Everything works now. Will use Excel in... read more

I had a great experience with this company. My water heater sprung a leak late in the evening. Luke came out and did what he could, but it was a lost cause. He was back the next day with the new water heater and installed it for us. Everything went smoothly. Luke was professional, friendly and knew what he was doing. I had never heard of this company before, (found them on Google) but I'm very impressed. From the dispatcher I spoke with on my original call, to the woman in the office who kept me informed the next day about... read more

Got the job done for a reasonable price. Showed up a bit outside their window but got the job done quickly.

I just had Excel over to auger a toilet and they did a great job. Excel fit me in their busy schedule within a couple of days and Luigi N. showed up right on time. He cleared the clog quickly and made sure that the clog was completely resolved. He was very polite and professional and took care to do a good job. I highly recommend Excel Plumbing (and Luigi N.)!

Got a quote through the app for the water heater fix, very fair quote compared to others. Had someone here next morning, prompt and they did the job plus fixed an issue with my water heater drain as well. They did a great job overall.

We are so happy we chose Excel plumbing! Our first conversation and scheduling with Mike were fantastic. He gave us clear and precise information and a good price on what we needed and he was able to schedule us the next day. The next day Luke showed up right on time and even gave us a call before to say he was on his way. The job had a few minor set backs but Luke was cheerful and helpful and handled it like a pro. He did an excellent job and cleaned up so well you would have never known anybody was there. I would definitel... read more

My water heater was leaking so I called Excel based on their Yelp reviews. From the moment I interacted with Kelly and Maureen over the phone and Kurt replacing my water heater, everything went very smooth. Great people to deal with. Kurt was very thorough in explaining everything to me. He was also very quick and efficient in his work with 20 years of experience to back him up. Excel also had very reasonable and competitive rates. I would strongly recommend this company for any of your plumbing needs!
