This facility is clean, well lit and secure. The manager is extremely helpful and a pleasure to interact with. I highly recommend..
It was a serendipitous day when I rolled into "Santa's Village" Extra Space Storage! Rainy and misty but the warmth inside and emanated by the person at the desk was palpable!. We went right out to see the available units and there was the one I wanted: right inside the door, near the bathroom and a perfect, quirky size. And ready now! My experience thus far at the Extra Space Storage in Scotts Valley has been good. Zenda who helped me out is very nice. The only thing that I'm not a fan of is the mandatory insurance. I guess that is a state regulation though.......Besides that everything has been smooth.
I have been storing for 6 years now. First in Portland OR now here. This extra Storage location is fantastic! It is clean, orderly, has a restroom which no other storage place has ever had. A cart is always available, lights in every space, safe and secure. But it's rea the people that make the difference. They are friendly, upbeat, get at problem solving to help you out in any way they can. I've rented from Public Storage before and they are sub par, a 2, compared to this Extra Storage. They are Great!!
This review is long overdue, as I've moved my stuff out of my little locker 6 months ago. Overall, I had a pretty good experience with this storage place. The location is quiet, the whole place is gated, and the premises are clean. All the people I interacted with were friendly and helpful. For three years, I harbored my collection of books, china, and all things knick-knacky in one of their 4' x 10' cells. First off, I have been a customer for the last 5 years and this location with April and Heather, has the VERY BEST customer service I have ever experienced with a storage facility. I would continue to rent from them if I weren't moving out of the area. The value is great too! They know how to treat customers!
April is great and the units and place is kept very clean and secured. I would use Extra Space storage again if I need to in the future. Affordable too!
I live in Capitola and work in Santa Clara so this storage facility is a perfect location for me. I go by it twice a day and it's easy on/easy off the freeway if I want to stop and put something in or get something out. This facility is maintained very well and always very clean. I have been pleasantly surprised by the friendly service. They email me a reminder if I forget to pay each month and once when I forgot they allowed me to pay late with no penalty.
