I've rented here twice now and had excellent experiences both times! The staff is very friendly and helpful, I truly enjoyed interacting with them. The facilities are exceptionally clean and well maintained. It is easy to get to your unit, plenty of carts to help ice your stuff, and great facilities. Everything is well lit and they even have music playing inside! Most importantly, I feel safe going to my unit even at night. This is my second time renting from here while between moves. Again, the service and professionalism of the staff was great! The price has gone up since I last rented here, but that is to be expected as housing rent has also gone up. I still find the rates reasonable for a clean and safe facility. I also appreciate the easiness of renting month to month here and how they'll prorate my rent when I move my stuff out of here.

We loveee ExtraSpace Storage! Shawna really helped us and was very accommodating. We werent sure if our stuff would fit in one storage unit and she was very helpful in guiding us pick the right one! We are remodeling our kitchen and having house repainted. Rather than live in the house with boxes packed to ceiling and using the garage as storage, we opted to rent from Extra Space Storage in Castro Valley. Shawna was very helpful and provided exactly the solution and space we needed, without putting pressure on me to rent larger space than required. The facilities are secure, easy to access, and immaculate. I will definitely recommend this company to my Castro Valley neighbors! Thanks Shawna.
