Dan we moving out of the storage and this is the voicemail I get from him. We are not done moving out just had my brother and nephew go on a lunch break and he goes off on me over the phone. Saying his going to charge me and am violating the less and they will send me to collection. The reason we are leaving is stuff Is melting due to there so called air conditioned building that's so hot inside no one can bare it for a few min to even check. Avoid these guys. My experience is extremely bad, 1) just got a notice for 37% rate increase. just 3 months in. We have our stuff stored here, so they know we cannot move easily 2) my unit is located next to the main street. The shutters to my unit does not close 100% down. All our stuff is gathering dust from the street. Staff has no resolution.

They auctioned my stuff without notice. I lost my job so I knew I was behind on my bill, so I called and spoke to Shawna and I asked how far behind am I? She says 71 days. I said okay I will come in and pay, I said can I pay half of what's due? She said sure, come into the office. This was on Oct. 11, 2019. She could have said "your stuff is set to be auctioned if you don't come in by Oct 15th"! So, I go to office on Sunday and they are closed. Location good, rates reasonable, but the lady (Shaunna) working today was incredibly rude, and does not understand how basic reservations work in most industries (it means you have a reservation, not you have one unless someone else books it after you do). Also I wish that the extra fee of insurance was listed prominently on home page of website, or at least when you make reservation on-line (not in fine print in any future e-mails). This is an otherwise clean, well run facility, however the experience I just had leaves me no choice but to submit a one-star rating. This evening, I drove up to the gate during open hours (but after office hours) and there was a sign on the entry pad stating the gate was broken and to enter in through the exit gate. DO NOT RENT HERE!!! I have watched a friend of mine suffering after her storage unit was robbed. Though the thieves were caught on camera (after designated hours of operation and with the security light out only in front of her unit) the manager claimed my friend was one of the persons tearing through her own goods and loading them into a truck...in fact when the sheriffs were called and arrived Shawna told them that my friend was 'disruptive' and on 'mental health medication'.
