Go somewhere else!!! There prices are so high and their payment policy isn't very friendly. They don't accept partial payment so if you are behind and just want to pay what you can, then forget about it. They only accept full payment, no exceptions.

Beware - Extra Space Storage will extort you! They admitted to me that their policy is to offer a low introductory rate & then raise your price 10% every 6 months thereafter. They count on the fact that you won't want to move once you are in.... I wish I'd known this before I rented from them. Avoid the blackmail, put your stuff somewhere else!

I've been a loyal customer of this facility since 2003 when it was still AAAA Self Storage. Paid my monthly yearly and have given them my business for all those years, no complaint. On December 2011, they had a break in, unfortunately, my unit was one of those that had been burglarized. Received ONE phone call from them in December with the Manager asking me if i could check my unit, as there "had been suspicious activity" in the building. I rented a 10x10 drive-up unit in Sept 2007 for the web rate of $172 a month. In four years the rent went up 6 times and when I closed it Friday it was up to $275. When I googled the address for the movers I saw that they had the price for my unit listed as $208 (web rate) and $245 (on-site rate). I feel like they ripped me off for several years. If you rent from them you better keep an eye on their "posted" rates.

I was very disappointed to hear that after moving out my things I would not be getting my refund back. They told me that after I signed my rental agreement they had changed there policy to keep prorated refunds and not reimburse customers the balances owed after moving out. Lady was giving me some type of run around as to why I need to give a 2 week notice before I can move my things out? The premium prices they charge of $235.00 is ridiculous for the the type of customer service they provide. Don't fall for that one m... read more

The former AAAA Self Storage recently upgraded their office, added bathrooms, and finally added elevators. The staff is relatively friendly, but some aren't really willing to help, i.e., give discounts or help you lock the door (The guy said he was on lunch break!). Beware of hidden fees, i.e., administrative fees and most especially customer insurance, which they say is a requirement. Beware, too, of the ridiculous rate increases, which seem to happen too frequently (less than a year)!
