"Be careful with this place. The first month's rent is cheap, but after 3 months they start increasing the price. It feels like a bait to get you in first, then keep raising the rent. I don't recommend renting here--look somewhere else."

Stay away from this place. The first month's rent looks cheap, but that's how they lure people in. After about 3 months, they increased my rent by an extra $100, and it keeps going up. What seemed affordable at first quickly became too expensive. Be careful and read the lease terms closely before signing.

I have negative experience at Daly City / Colma Extra Space storage. A lot of rats running between units Manager Jovita Alarcon told me to post 5 star review, when I poster negative, she increased price for my unit second time per year. I think I pay highest price in all CA storages now.619 dollars. This is not her private facility, but she id acting like she's.

I used this storage space throughout my time in college. I wish I could leave this place with a good review but my last experience with them was awful. I went to collect my things and found RAT DROPPINGS throughout the unit and multiple holes in my belongings from RATS chewing through my stuff. I told management about my problem and they did absolutely nothing. I cannot recommend this place if you care about your belongings.

Really disappointed in their service. They increased my monthly rent by almost $60 without notifying me. I had to find out when my automatic payment alert came on. When it happened last Sunday- I couldn't get a hold of anyone to talk to about this since their offices were closed on Sundays. They have all these promos in the beginning and they lock you in and increase the charges without notifications. After only a few months they start raising the rental charges. Very frustrating. The upstairs is full of rats even in my unit eating up my traveling bag! And not only that! The manager out all person should be more kind to customers! She's very rude! She needs more training how to deal with customers!!! She needs to go back to training school to learn how to deal with people!!!

We emptied our storage unit today. Im so glad to be leaving this place. Their outrageous fees continue to rise randomly. After the unit was empty, I went to the office to close my account. I informed the office person that I still had two weeks left and would i be getting a refund. She informed me they don't give refunds! Its all about the money for this establishment. You will be better off going to a different place for your storage needs.

I moved out of my unit today and there was Rat poop and urine all over our stuff. My wife's wedding dress was there and it is destroyed due to rat urine. This place is not what I thought it would be. I would never recommend a place that lets this happen to their customers.

DO NOT STORE YOUR BELONGINGS HERE. First off, like others have mentioned, we also found rat droppings in our unit. Luckily, all of our stuff was in plastic containers. But that isn't even the worst of it. After storing our belongings here for months, we went to start emptying our unit out and noticed the people in the unit next to ours had CUT OUT A HUGE PORTION OF THE SHARED WALL to get into our unit.
